Milky Way Cheesecake Cupcakes

| |

Imagine for a minute you have lots of leftover Milky Way candies from trick or treating.  I know it seems next to impossible, but I suppose it could happen.  Somewhere.  What to do with those extra candies?  Well, besides eating them Inside BruCrew Life says you could make cupcakes!  Of course you could.  You’re welcome.

Milky Way Cheesecake Cupcakes

Ingredients
2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz. each)
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
6 Oreo cookies
1 c. chopped Milky Way bars
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350* Line cupcake pan with liners and drop 1/2 an Oreo cookie into the bottom of each. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add the eggs, sour cream, vanilla and caramel topping and beat until fluffy. Stir in the Milky Way candies by hand.
  2. Fill each liner 3/4 full. Bake 22 minutes. Cool in pan for about 15 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Before serving, top with cool whip and garnish with extra Milky Way minis if desired and sprinkles. Refrigerate. Makes 12 mini cheesecakes.
