Using food coloring – liquid or gel – is somewhat of a guessing game. Not enough and you end up with a mint or pastel color. Too much and it just looks, well, like too much. Luckily, the folks at McCormick came up with this handy table to show us how to successfully mix food coloring to get the right shade of green. While St. Patrick’s Day requires a nice, vibrant green color but it might be nice to mix it up with a lighter shade for the frosting or other decorative toppings. You might want to keep this handy for Easter, too!
